Walk me down this line of sand

Let me drown in your rough hands

Show to me your inner best

Never hide all the rest

Stare right through but see it all

In the palm of your hand

I don’t know if it’s within me to let you go

Never seeing or feeling, makes time so slow

Darkness inside me begins  to grow

Even with feelings turned stale

Thoughts of you still prevail

Bitter, jaded, unstable

Never knowing, never seeing

So ungrateful, disbelieving 

My left and right are diagreeing

Much time past since we drifted apart

I still can’t forget how you broke my heart

Wish I knew right from the start

My efforts wasted on a clone

So now I’m the one who sits alone

Hey everyone, not a theme post. Just something I came up with the other day. (also seen on my Deviant Art)

There once a man who waited for the midnight train

A women, so elegant, so graceful was in the station as well
If only he could speak to her, if only he knew her name

As luck or fate would have it, they sat 
in the same car

His heart was pounding, would she be the one?

Brave, fearless, he took the night

“Excuse me miss, is this these taken?”

       Echoing in the night


is this seat taken?

   This women
remembered that night so clearly
if only she had moved,
if only she never learned his name

A few months after their fairy tale train ride.
the happy couple married

And so her heart sank as she smelled his whisky breath
as his fists pounded the walls

Her battered body and battered soul

If only she never learned his name

She lay in bed as her tears pour out
He is at the bar, and will return to shout

She sees the bottles and makes a plan

   He returns to see the woman on the floor
he screams and kicks 
but she does not stir

Some empty bottles , a dreadful sight
That woman he battered lay dead in the night
